You’ll also benefit from the fascinating aesthetic of this timber’s appearance. The fibres in the fine-textured kiaat wood can either be straight, interlocked or wavy.

Kiaat finish
To complement the natural beauty and dusty reddish-brown of this wood, a lovely kiaat finish was chosen as the stain for this wood. It is then worked smooth and all pores are sealed. 

Last coat of acrylic varnish
Lastly, a coat of clear acrylic varnish is applied to the frame of this bedroom furniture piece. This ensures maximum protection of the wood against daily wear, as well as protection against organisms and chemicals.
