Hand-tufting locks the comfort layers and core support system in position for the life of the mattress. As a result, body impressions on the mattress surface and partner motion disturbances are considerably lessened. The tufting process puts the core support system under continuous compression, therefore the support system exerts a constant upward pressure. This isolates support to an individual so the unique comfort required is provided.
